Lancashire 2025

Overview

2019 marked the end of my last 5-year plan and throughout the year I worked hard to start to set myself some new, exciting, creative, artistic and strategic goals for the next 5 years from January 2020.

I was determined that the new decade would bring about a change in direction for me not only as an artist but also as a producer and cultural leader. And despite the obvious setbacks we have all faced due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I am really pleased to say that I am still working hard to see these through.

I am thrilled to announce that one of my projects for 2020 brings me a brand new role as Associate Producer for Lancashire 2025, working as part of the bid team for the county’s application to compete for the prestigious title of UK City of Culture 2025 and I couldn’t feel prouder to be part of this journey.

“Imagine a county positioning itself as a Virtual City of the Future, with a bold new vision for culture, commerce and creative communities.

Lancashire 2025 paves the way for culture led regeneration in Lancashire and is about the whole of the county coming together as one to champion a new vision, a new identity and make a new culture for a sustainable future.

Lancashire 2025 will be for everyone no matter what age, gender, race, sexuality, religion, or education. We will ensure people can access and engage with what we have to offer, regardless of financial or geographical restraints. Diversity and inclusion is at the heart of our vision for Lancashire 2025.”

Stay tuned and I’ll post updates on the brand new Lancashire 2025 website and Podcast where you can learn much more about the project – both coming soon!
